This pattern finishes at 18" x 18" and uses 8-16 neckties, and is great for a confident beginner. Basic knowledge of sewing and quilting skills is assumed. A standard, domestic sewing machine is required. A serger is helpful for one of the two finishing options, but is not required. The finished pillow cover is meant to hold a standard 18" square pillow form.
